Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026 · HunterNodes is a product of Axentia Global Private Limited, a company registered in New Delhi, India.
The short version
HunterNodes is local-first. Your mandates, candidate information, and generated documents live where you choose: in your browser, in a folder on your computer, or in a database you own. We keep no database of your search data at all. The only time that data leaves your machine is when you run a tool — and then it goes to the AI provider you chose, through our stateless relay, and is not kept by us. If you buy Pro, your payment is handled by PayU and we never see your card.
What data exists, and where it lives
- Search data (mandates, candidate profiles and notes, generated outputs, drafts): stored in your browser by default, or — if you choose — in a local folder or your own Supabase project. HunterNodes servers never store any of it.
- Your AI API key: stored only in your browser. It is sent with each tool run so the request can be made on your account, and is never stored, logged, or retained server-side.
- Trial and licence state: the date your 7-day trial started, and — if you buy Pro — your licence code, are stored in your browser. The code contains the email address the licence was issued to.
- Preferences (name for the greeting, widgets, clocks, links, calendar feed URL): your browser only.
What leaves your browser when you run a tool
When you press Run, the text you put in the input fields — including any pasted CV, LinkedIn profile text, or job description — is sent to the AI provider you selected (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Perplexity) to generate the output. Our server acts only as a stateless relay: it forwards the request with your key and streams the answer back, holding nothing. Each provider processes that content under its own terms; their API terms state that API data is not used to train their models by default. Every Run button shows which provider will receive the data before you run.
Payment information
Pro payments are processed by PayU. Your card, UPI or netbanking credentials are entered on PayU's systems and never touch ours — we cannot see or store them, and we do not keep your card on file.
To issue your licence and invoice, we receive and keep a record of: your name, email address, phone number, the amount paid, and the PayU transaction ID and status. We keep billing and tax records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and we use this information only to deliver your licence, issue invoices (including GST invoices), provide support, and email you before your licence expires.
If you sign in
An account is optional — the toolkit works without one. If you do sign in, we use a magic link (no password), and we store your email address and a sign-in session so we can recognise you on your next visit. You can sign out at any time, and you may ask us to delete your account by emailing us.
Cookies and local storage
We use no advertising cookies, no analytics trackers, and no third-party tracking of any kind. HunterNodes stores data in your browser (local storage) to make the product work — your search data, preferences, AI key, trial date, and licence. If you sign in, an essential session cookie keeps you signed in. That is all.
What we don't do
- No server-side storage of your search data, candidate data, or AI keys
- No advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or profiling
- No selling or sharing of your data — we never possess most of it
- No automated fetching of candidate profiles: candidate data enters HunterNodes only when you paste or upload it
- No storing of your card details — PayU handles payment end to end
Your responsibilities as a recruiter
When you handle candidate personal data in HunterNodes, you are the data controller under laws such as GDPR (EU), PDPA (Singapore), and CCPA (California). That means it is your responsibility to have a lawful basis for processing candidate information, to honour candidates' rights (access, correction, deletion), and to ensure sending their data to your chosen AI provider is consistent with your obligations. HunterNodes gives you the controls for this: your data home is yours, exports are one click, and the Settings page includes a "Clear all local data" wipe.
Your rights over the data we do hold
For the limited data we hold (billing records, licence records, and your email if you sign in), you may ask us to provide a copy, correct it, or delete it — subject to records we must keep by law, such as tax invoices. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Third-party services
- AI providers (Anthropic / OpenAI / Perplexity): receive tool inputs per run, on your key
- PayU: processes payments and handles your card details
- Vercel: hosts the site; standard server logs (including IP address) are generated for security and reliability
- Supabase: stores your email and session only if you sign in; separately, your own Supabase project (if you choose it as a data home) is governed by your agreement with Supabase
- Currency rates (open.er-api.com) and site icons (Google favicon service): receive no personal data
- Your calendar feed (optional): fetched read-only from the private link you paste; the link is stored only in your browser
