The tour · 9 slides
One search, tool to tool, start to finish.
This is the whole journey — what you do, which tool does it, what you get back, and what to click next. Every output ends with “What's next” buttons that carry your work forward automatically, so the system drives the process even when it's 6pm on a Friday.

STAGE 00 · ALWAYS ON
Build your desk, switch on the radar
What you do
Tell the 90-Day Desk Strategy your level and goal. Then every Monday, run Market Radar on a past-week window — it sets up your always-on alert stack on the first run.
What you get
A defined niche, copy-paste alert queries, and a weekly list of live triggers — funding rounds, exec moves, and real job postings with links.
What to expect
Live tools search the actual web: expect real companies and links, honest 'quiet week' answers, and a coverage note. 20–60 seconds per run.
ThenA trigger fires → click 'Find the decision makers'.
- 02
STAGE 00 · WIN THE MANDATE
From trigger to signed proposal
What you do
Decision-Maker Finder identifies who buys search at the company. Pitch Preparation briefs you before the meeting. The moment they say 'send me something' — Proposal Generator.
What you get
Named (sourced) buyers with openers referencing real facts, an objection-handling script against the big firms, and a complete engagement letter draft.
What to expect
The finder names people ONLY when it can link a source; otherwise it gives you the exact title to ask for. The proposal is a draft — always adapt fees and terms.
ThenMandate signed → the briefing meeting.
- 03
STAGE 01 · DAYS 1–3
Take a briefing the client remembers
What you do
Walk into the intake meeting with the Briefing Kit's layered questions. Same day: paste your raw notes into the Search Brief Generator. Then lock dates with the Process Calendar.
What you get
Questions that make the client say 'no one ever asked us that', a client-ready Search Brief for written sign-off, and a dated timeline with a ready-to-send email.
What to expect
The Brief marks every gap as [TO CONFIRM] rather than guessing — chase those before starting. The rule: no search starts without a signed brief.
ThenBrief signed → decode the role.
- 04
STAGE 02 · WEEK 1
Decode, plan, map, build strings
What you do
Create a Mandate (paste the JD once — or drop the PDF). Run Role Decoder. Its output chains straight into Search Strategy, Target Company Mapper, and X-Ray Builder.
What you get
The Role Truth Sheet (what the role really is, unicorn alerts, questions for the HM), an honest pool-size estimate, a tiered company map, and copy-ready search strings.
What to expect
The Decoder will challenge the JD — that's the point. Every search string has a one-click copy button. The mandate pre-fills every later tool automatically.
ThenOne click: 'LinkedIn job post' or 'Build the search strategy'.
- 05
STAGE 03 · WEEKS 1–3
Make the market want this role
What you do
Generate the LinkedIn Job Post (confidential option included). Build the Client Attraction Document before first calls. Write per-archetype Outreach. Prep every screen with the Call Guide.
What you get
A post built for the LinkedIn medium (hook-first, must-haves only), a company story that attracts without hype, 3-touch message sequences under 90 words, and a call script with a note template.
What to expect
Outreach comes in variants per candidate archetype — never one blast. Confidential mode strips every identifying detail.
ThenAfter each screen → 'Score the candidate'.
- 06
STAGE 04–05 · WEEKS 2–6
Score with evidence, present business solutions
What you do
Paste CV + your notes into the Candidate Scorecard after every screen. One click turns a strong score into the client-ready Candidate Report. Shortlist Grid compares the finalists.
What you get
Six-dimension scores with cited evidence and a clear A/B/C call, interview probes built from THIS candidate's CV gaps, a report that opens with the business problem they solve, and a decision-forcing comparison grid.
What to expect
The scorecard names risks honestly — that's what makes your recommendation credible. The report includes a 5-line email teaser. Download anything as Word.
ThenCandidate presented → interview prep chains in.
- 07
STAGE 06 · CLIENT PROCESS
Run interviews like a process, not a lottery
What you do
Prep Pack before every candidate interview. Debrief both sides same day with the Debrief Kits. Client note within 24h.
What you get
Round-specific prep (weak spots addressed head-on), debrief questions that force specifics, and a polished same-day client note with a clear next step.
What to expect
The debrief kits are honest — if a round went badly, they force the specifics out rather than letting it drift.
ThenFinalist emerging → references and the offer.
- 08
STAGE 07 · THE CLOSE
Close clean — references and the offer
What you do
Reference Check Kit at final-round stage (you pick the referees). Offer Playbook before any number goes in writing.
What you get
Probe scripts that read between the lines, the comp maths including walk-away costs (the number that actually kills deals), and verbatim negotiation scripts.
What to expect
The playbook takes positions — a target number, a sequencing plan, a deadline structure.
ThenSigned → protect the notice period.
- 09
STAGE 08 · AFTER THE SIGNATURE
Protect the placement, compound the relationship
What you do
Onboarding Bridge the day the offer is signed. Check-ins at 30/90/180 (calendarize them). Track every candidate on the Mandate Tracker throughout. Weekly Client Update every Friday.
What you get
A dated keep-warm plan through the danger zone, check-in scripts that catch trouble inside your guarantee window, a kanban that flags stalls in red after 7 days, and the weekly report that makes retainers renew.
What to expect
The 30/90/180 calls end with the referral question when things are green — a healthy placement chains straight back into Pitch Preparation. The loop closes.
Then→ The next mandate. That's the system.
